My friend Janine, cooling down in a small bar on a 95 degree day.  When I showed her this picture all she said was, "Nice cleavage!" Indeed.

Dave and Janine and I took a tour of the warehouse district this day, walking around from air-conditioned gallery to gallery.  The temperature outside was in the mid 90's as every day had been since we arrived in New Orleans.  The deserted streets echoed with the distant sounds of a sleepy city.

"Uncle John's Apple Farm" reminded me of all those places you would go to as a child and think, "this is supposed to be great?" It was basically a tourist trap in the middle of no where, but it did have charm. Doug, Ed & I drove there on a crisp autumn afternoon and wandered around the buildings and fields of what is obviously set up to be MUCH MORE than it was that day. I only wish I had had more than my phone with me, as there would have been so many other great shots.

On Thursday, October 28th, the Philadelphia Photo Arts Center (PPAC) designated a 'Philly Photo Day' and called for submissions from all over the city to be shot in a 24 hour period from midnight to midnight.  This was my submission, shot just outside our front door.

Dave and I drove to Hammond Castle with our brother-in-law Steve and our niece Abigail.  The day was quite spectacular and the castle itself was a fascinating find.  The seaside there is extraordinary.
